Weidmüller’s proven Wire Processing Center (WPC) can now be supplemented with additional modules – for even more flexibility. Previously, only one automatic cutting and crimping machine was included per system. Now several of these machine types can be integrated. The flexibility and efficiency of the WPC can thus be better adapted to individual requirements. If required, the workstation can even be supplemented with an upstream cable feed carriage and a downstream bundling module.

Further increasing requirements in the panel building environment are leading to big challenges. Weidmüller’s partly automated solution CRIMPFIX ECO offer efficiency advantages all around the cable assembly and in parallel overcome highest possible flexibility.

The Klippon® Automated RailAssembler enables fully automated assembly of terminal strips. In combination with the Weidmüller Configurator (WMC), the use of the automated system eliminates the need for picking, assigning and positioning individual terminal blocks in the production process. In this way, time savings of up to 60% can be achieved during regular assembly. In unmanned operation, the value can be even more significant.

The purely electrically operated CUTFIX PRO enables simple and precise cutting to length of flexible conductors in the cross-section range 0.08 to 10.00 mm² (AWG 40-8). The supplied software allows cutting jobs to be easily read from data carriers, possibly edited directly at the touch display and easily executed. In addition, the machine can be easily integrated into Weidmüller’s modular Wire Processing Center (WPC) for even greater effectiveness.

The POWERCRIMPER VARIO is offering flexible options of usage thanks to its purely electrical drive. Different inserts e.g. for insulated connectors up to 6 mm² (AWG 10) or wire end ferrules 6 to 16 mm² (AWG 10-6) are enabling force-gentle crimping operations. With the use of hand tools and an increasing number of crimps, these connections are among the more demanding applications.
